We're so gald you came by for a visit!

It has been a busy year at our house, and YIKES, it's already December!

It has been quite a while since we've seen some of you - especially since we moved out to Timbuktu! Well, maybe not THAT far away. This past summer we decided to trade in city living for life out in the "country" - or as country as you can find with a reasonable commute in to work. A few years ago we started veggie gardening with the kids because they hadn't a clue where carrots or brocolli came from. "But mom! It's isle 2 in the grocery store, isn't it?!" It didn't take long for our little city lot, complete with pumpkins, rows of tomato cages and a compost pile, to start looking out of place.

So...here we are in our new home! First off, we were amazed at how much more house we could get for our money by looking out a bit. We were able to find a great 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on 1 1/4 acres for less than we sold our old place for. (I will say, though, that I'm REALLY missing my hardwood floors and built in cabinets, but maybe in time...) Our little piece of "God's Country" is at the end of a little culdesac and backs right up to a horse farm! We've already hosted a few bonfires (complete with guitar and S'mores) and are looking forward to getting some snow so we can sled down our hill!

If ever you're out this way, give us a call or just stop by! We'd love to see you and we certainly have the space now!
