(Oct. '08) Emma has a thing for horses. In fact, she's quite certain that we need one. And Beth, (Jeremy's sister), being the thoughtful Auntie that she is, wanted to take her horseback riding. What fun to find that a co-worker HAS horses and thought we should try horseback riding there before paying for a session. Free?! Well, in return, Emma would need to help rub down and feed the horses. Hmmm.... I think we have a deal! (I suggested she help clean out stalls, too. You know, to get a feel for how much work it REALLY is to own a horse.) It ended up up that we all got to ride - except for Amanda and Daddy. Amanda was afraid of the horses and Daddy, well maybe he was afraid of them, too! A bit sore after, but what a fun afternoon!! Oh, and yes, Emma did write a report on it for school!!
